Getting into the Christmas Spirit
The Hauser family have been busy baking in the run up to christmas, having offered up their talents to raise funds for the Amani kids this festive season.
Getting in touch with their German roots, Susanne, Janika and their little helpers managed to produce a whopping 26kg of traditional German christmas biscuits including old favourites like lebkuchen and cinnamon stars, as well as the more curiously named "rauwuzel" (a rum, chocolate and coconut concoction) among others.
With pre-orders having been placed throughout November and December, the effort raised over £500 - though Janika swears never to set foot in a kitchen again (at least until Boxing Day...)
